Description:

The project is a part of the worldwide campaign to remove lead gasoline in nearly every country around the world. Lead is a threat to local populations in the proposed project countries and globally, particularly lead recovered from ULABs, which is comprised of 53% lead which can be extracted once a battery has lost its charge and recycled. In Southeast Asia, ULAB recycling is on the rise due to increasing demand and price of lead and increased car ownership.
