After over four decades of a colorful and exemplary career in government, Assistant Secretary for Foreign-Assisted and Special Projects (FASPs) Edwin G. Domingo has bowed out of the service. He had previously served the Mines and Geosciences Bureau for 35 years, rising through the ranks, until he was appointed as OIC-Director of the Foreign-Assisted and Special Projects Service – a post he held for about eight years.

Receiving the baton of leadership was Forester Lourdes C. Wagan in a ceremony held at the Hive Hotel & Convention Place, Quezon City on March 6, 2018. Forester Wagan used to be the OIC-Regional Technical Director for Forestry of DENR Region XI and Regional Director of DENR in the National Capital Region (NCR) prior to her assignment at FASPS.

She has a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from the University of the Philippines in Los Baños and a Master in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of the Philippines in Diliman.

Director Wagan participated in several environment-related conventions abroad such as the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) Forum on Asia Europe Cooperation in Addressing Climate Change in Ha Long, Vietnam; the Landscape and Sustainability Global Forum in Burgos, Spain; and the 11th SOM-AMAF Meeting in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
