inremp releases second batch of grants for llrb 600px

Eleven people’s organizations (POs) in the sub-watersheds of Marawi-Saguiaran, Taraka, Malaig, and West in Lake Lanao River Basin (LLRB) have satisfactorily complied with the requirements set by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) to implement their Natural Resources Management (NRM) sub-projects under the Integrated Natural Resources and Management Project (INREMP). Consequently, close to Php 9 M was awarded to the project implementers in a ceremony held at the campus of Mindanao State University (MSU) in Marawi City on February 28, 2019.

On hand to witness the event were Forester Ismail Ambola, Deputy Protected Area Superintendent (PASu); Moises Butic, Deputy Project Director (DPD); Forester Arnulfo Osio, Regional Focal Person of the Integrated Natural Resources and Environment Management Project; Ariel Erasga, Social Safeguards Specialist; Professor Danilo Miro, Dean of the College of Forestry and Environmental Studies of MSU; and Forester Pili Papandayan, PENRO of Lanao del Sur.
