The Integrated Natural Resources and Environmental Management Project (INREMP) in Chico Upper River Basin conducted its 14th pre-construction and ground breaking ceremony for the rehabilitation of Malucsad-Guina-ang-Puapo Farm-to-Market Road in Pasil, Kalinga on February 27, 2020.

The road, which stretches four kilometers and carries a price tag of PhP20 M to rehabilitate, will be a joint undertaking of INREMP, the regional offices of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and Department of Agriculture (DA), local government units, and other partners in Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR). Once completed, access to other subprojects and transport of goods and services in barangays Guina-ang, Malucsad, and Dangtalan are projected to improve significantly. (INREMP/ Norell Osting)
