The East Asian Seas Partnership Council is pleased to announce the launch of the East Asian Seas Futures: Youth and the Ocean Competition this year as part of PEMSEA’s efforts to generate the interest, awareness, and engagement of the youth in coastal and marine issues and actions.
In close cooperation with the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries of RO Korea, the program offers multiple avenues for engagement, the first and second of which are the photo and video competitions. Both events aim to feature the unique perspectives and contributions of the youth to ensure the sustainable development of the coastal and marine environment.
The deadline for submission of entries for the photo competition is on March 1, 2021, 23:59 Philippine Time (UTC+8). Details can be accessed here: http://www.pemsea.org/content/eas-futures-photo-competition.
